Jill A. Powell

Administrative Assistant at Charles Stewart Mott Foundation

An administrative assistant with Mott’s Grants Administration division, where she currently manages the Foundation’s central grant files, Jill Powell has been with the Foundation since 2000. Four times a year, she’s also recruited by the Foundation’s executive office to help prepare materials for Board of Trustee meetings, a task she’s helped with since she was hired as a word processor in 2000. Prior to joining the Foundation, Powell worked as a certified legal assistant for a large law firm in Southeastern Michigan. She has an associate degree from Baker College in Flint and a bachelor’s degree from Oakland University. A fitness enthusiast, she is a licensed Zumba instructor, certified group fitness instructor, personal trainer and coach. She generously shares her passion for health by volunteering her time to lead group fitness classes for Mott Foundation employees.
