Fred Argir

Fred Argir has held a number of high-level positions in the technology industry. Fred is currently a Board Member at Charles Hudson Technology Solutions. Prior to that, they served as Chief Digital Officer at Barnes & Noble, Inc. from July 2015 to August 2018. In that role, they were responsible for the Nook, Sparknotes, Barnes and Noble Press, and Digital brands. Argir also served as Global Chief Digital Officer at Toys R Us from November 2012 to July 2015. Prior to that, they were CIO and SVP E-Commerce at The Sports Authority from April 2011 to November 2012. Argir also spent five years at Target Corporation from January 2004 to December 2009, where they served as Vice President - Supply Chain Application Development. Fred began their career at Fingerhut Corporation, where they served as SVP/CIO from January 2001 to December 2003.

Fred Argir's educational career would include studying business and humanities at the University of Minnesota.
