Jacqueline Burson is a dedicated mental health professional with extensive experience in behavioral health and crisis intervention. Currently serving as the Mental Health Liaison for the Charles County Government since March 2022, Jacqueline provides critical advisement and education to enhance the mental well-being of law enforcement officers and civilian staff. Prior experience includes a decade at the Maryland Department of Health as a Senior Mental Health Professional Counselor and Acting Clinical Supervisor, where responsibilities encompassed high-volume caseload management, evidence-based therapy, and collaboration with healthcare teams. Additionally, Jacqueline held various roles in educational and non-profit settings, further enriching a well-rounded background in mental health support. Jacqueline holds a Master's degree in Clinical Community Counseling from The Johns Hopkins University and is pursuing a Doctor of Science degree in Health Services from the University of New Haven.
