Ori was impressed with Charles Armstrong from day one based on the way the school completely transformed his sons in 1st and 2nd grade. But it was Isaac and Emmitt’s middle school performances in The Lion King musical (as little Simba and big Simba respectively) that cinched his love for the school and drove home the point that just about anything was possible for them and others with learning differences. Ori attended the University of California, Santa Barbara where he graduated with a degree in political science, and Boston University School of Law where he obtained his J.D. magna cum laude. Ori joined the law firm of Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP right out of law school and has remained with the firm for his entire career. He previously served as managing partner of the firm’s San Francisco office and currently serves as the firm-wide leader of the finance and bankruptcy practice group.
