Carlos Bernal is an experienced professional in energy and sustainability management, currently serving as Associate Director at ChapmanBDSP since July 2022. Previously, Carlos held positions at HDR as an Energy and Sustainability Associate, TÜV SÜD as an Energy and Sustainability Associate, and worked as an independent Consultant in Energy and Sustainability. Carlos contributed significantly to intu as an Energy Manager, overseeing energy management for 15 shopping centers across the UK. Additional experience includes roles as a Sustainability Advisor at Gleeds, a Sustainability Consultant at Ramboll, and earlier positions as a Consultant Researcher at SunBiofuels Ltd, an Engineer at Ford Motor Company, and a Commercial Engineer at Mallas y Tubos Ltda. Carlos holds an MSc in Sustainable Development from the University of Surrey and a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad de América.
