Crystal Ashby has a diverse background in marketing and public relations. Crystal started their career as a Public Relations Intern at Marketwire in 1999. Crystal then worked as a PR Assistant at Rogers & Cowan in 2001. In 2002, Crystal joined Chaparral Motorsports as Marketing Director, where they were responsible for developing marketing and service policies. In 2009, they became the Marketing Director at Eagle Rider of San Bernardino, where they worked until 2013.

Crystal Ashby received their Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications, with a focus on Public Relations, from California State University, Long Beach. Crystal attended the university from 1998 to 2002.
