Brett Benedetti is a Science Program Manager for the Neurodegeneration Challenge Network at the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative since October 2022. Previously, Brett served as Associate Director of Research Programs at The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research from October 2019 to October 2022. Prior experience includes working as a Senior Editor for Nature Medicine at Springer Nature between November 2014 and September 2019, and conducting postdoctoral research in the laboratory of Dr. Gordon Fishell at New York University School of Medicine from October 2010 to November 2014. Brett holds a PhD in Biology from Carnegie Mellon University (2004-2010) and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Allegheny College (2000-2004).
