Patrick Ayscue is a Senior Biosecurity Fellow at Chan Zuckerberg Biohub since 2020, bringing extensive experience in biosecurity and epidemiology. Prior roles include Director of Government Programs and Director of Epidemiology at Metabiota from 2015 to 2020, as well as serving as an Epidemic Intelligence Service Officer at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention from 2013 to 2015. Ayscue's early career features positions as a NIH Kirschstein National Research Service Award Post-Doctoral Fellow in Epidemiology at Cornell University and various fellowships focused on science policy and biosecurity. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Environmental Sciences from Emory University.
