Miguel Paço is a PhD graduate student at the Champalimaud Foundation, specializing in sensorimotor integration with a focus on the principles of fast course correction in Drosophila courtship pursuit. This research follows a master's degree and bachelor's degree in Biological Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico. Miguel has gained diverse experience through various roles, including rotation student positions in different labs focusing on functional imaging, circuit dynamics, and behavioral neuroscience. Additionally, previous internships at the Champalimaud Foundation and Instituto Superior Técnico involved developing advanced imaging techniques and optimizing bioplastics synthesis.
