Shanna M. DeSouza has extensive experience in educational and research settings, currently serving as Student Services Secretary and Summer School Secretary at Champaign Unit 4 Schools since November 2018, while also working as an AVID Tutor and Substitute Teacher. In addition, Shanna operates as a self-employed Problem Solver, Project Manager, and Service Provider through the business Shanna Solves It!, established in August 2018. Previously, Shanna held positions such as Research Coordinator at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, assisting in various research projects and administrative tasks, and served as Project Assistant & Office Coordinator at the University of Chicago, where responsibilities included managing student affairs and event planning. Earlier roles at the University of Illinois included another Research Coordinator position and Head Lifeguard & Swim Lesson Coordinator, showcasing leadership and organizational skills. Shanna earned a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a diploma from the Illinois Math & Science Academy.
