Hansen Tan has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Hansen started their career at International Enterprise Singapore in 2006 as an Account Manager, specializing in Real Estate. In 2007, they joined Surbana International Consultants Pte Ltd as an Assistant Vice President (BD) until 2010. Hansen then moved on to Chambers International, where they held various leadership roles such as Deputy Director, Director, Executive Director, and currently serves as the Deputy Managing Director since 2023. Hansen also holds a position as a Board Member at Quinvest Chambers International Property Consultants Pte Ltd since 2022.

Hansen Tan has a diverse education history. In 2006, they graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor's degree in Real Estate. Prior to that, in 2002, they completed an Advanced Diploma in Computer Studies at Oxford Brookes University. In 2009, they attended the University of Dubai for an Executive Management Program in Business. In terms of certifications, they obtained a Greenmark Facility Management Certificate from BCA Academy, a Certificate of Facility Management Expert (CFME) from SIFMA, and a Strategic Facilities Management (Advanced Level) degree from FMS Associates Asia Pte Ltd in 2012. Hansen is currently pursuing a Facility Management Professional (FMP) degree from the International Facility Management Association (IFMA) in 2022.
