Shilpa Deshpande is a seasoned data scientist currently serving as a Staff Data Scientist at Chainalysis Inc. since April 2018, working on Bitcoin and Ethereum transaction analysis, feature engineering, and machine learning. Previously, Shilpa held multiple roles at Lab49 from May 2014 to April 2018, including Deputy Practice Head and Senior Software Engineer, focusing on hiring, mentorship, and client projects. Prior experience includes a Senior Analyst Developer position at Goldman Sachs, where Shilpa worked on automated ranking processes, a Java Developer role at The Gallup Organization, and educational roles, culminating in a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University.
