Phil L. is a highly experienced professional in cybercrime and investigations, currently serving as the Director of Investigations at Chainalysis Inc. since February 2021. Prior roles include Manager of Investigations and Intelligence for EMEA and UK Operations Manager at Chainalysis. Phil L. has significant experience within the National Crime Agency (NCA), where responsibilities included Head of Incident Response and Outreach, and Head of Operational Intelligence in the National Cyber Crime Unit. Early in the career, Phil L. served as a Detective Sergeant in the Economic Crime Unit at Greater Manchester Police, leading investigations into serious fraud and organized crime. Education includes a degree in History and Politics from the University of Liverpool and a Master's degree in Counter Fraud and Counter Corruption Studies from the University of Portsmouth.
