Julie Samuel is an accomplished executive recruiter with extensive experience in building talent acquisition strategies across various industries. Currently, Julie serves as an Executive Recruiter at Chainalysis Inc. after previous roles as a Senior Executive Recruiter at Slack and in various recruitment capacities at Google, where significant contributions included building the Financial Services Vertical and streamlining hiring processes within Google Cloud. Prior to transitioning into recruitment, Julie held leadership positions at Citi, where project management and diversity initiatives within the Global Capital Markets were key focuses. Julie’s career initiated in education as a Special Education Teacher with Teach for America, complemented by a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Michigan and a Master’s degree in Special Education from Hunter College.
