Joy Pinckard is a Weather Applications Software Engineer at CFD Research Corporation since January 2023, with prior experience as a Software Engineer at Amazon Games from January 2022 to November 2022. Joy served as a Graduate Research Assistant at The University of Alabama in Huntsville between January 2020 and December 2021 and was a Crew Trainer at Space Camp during the summer of 2019, where supervision and educational responsibilities for trainees aged seven to fifteen were undertaken. Joy also worked as a Researcher at the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2018, focusing on software updates for serious games and enhancements using augmented reality and haptic technology. Joy holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from The University of Alabama in Huntsville and a Full Stack Web Development Certification from freeCodeCamp, alongside a Bachelor’s degree from Jacksonville State University earned between 2014 and 2018.
