David Cox, CFA, CMT, currently serves as a Senior Portfolio Manager at Raymond James Ltd. since December 2022, providing fee-based discretionary investment management and retirement planning. David has been a Chartered Market Technician (CMT) with the Market Technician's Association since 2008 and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation from the CFA Institute since 2001. Prior experience includes a role as Portfolio Manager at CIBC Wood Gundy from May 2003 to December 2022, a Quantitative Analyst at Connor, Clark & Lunn Investment Management Ltd. from November 1998 to December 2001, and a Profit & Loss Analyst at Citibank Canada in late 1997. David holds an Honours Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Waterloo, completed in 1998.
