Ramanasundaran Mahalingam is a Civil Engineer with extensive experience in the engineering and construction sectors. Currently employed at Ceylon Electricity Board since September 2016, Ramanasundaran leads the Civil Engineering Unit in the Eastern Province, managing annual projects worth 700k USD, and is involved in design analysis for the PMU. Previously, Ramanasundaran served as a Senior Design Engineer at CML-MTD Construction, overseeing geometrical designs and collaborating with tendering divisions, and as Project Engineer and Design Engineer at the Road Development Authority, where responsibilities included the construction of significant lengths of roads and bridges. Earlier experience includes a role as Site Engineer with China Overseas Engineering Company, focused on major road construction projects. Ramanasundaran holds a Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering and a B.Sc in Civil Engineering from the University of Peradeniya.
