Chanaka Samarajeewa is a skilled Project Engineer at Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) since July 2015, contributing to the Electricity Supply Reliability Improvement Project funded by ADB, with a project cost of USD 41 million. Responsibilities include the design and construction of a 300km 33kV double circuit tower line and 13 units of 33kV 2SSBB gantry. Previous positions at CEB include Distribution Maintenance Engineer, focusing on maintenance of 33kV/11kV lines and distribution substations, and Distribution Construction Engineer, overseeing the construction of 33kV lines and distribution substations. Prior experience includes serving as an Electrical Engineer at Central Engineering Consultancy Bureau, managing the design and installation of building electrical systems, and as a System Development Engineer at JLanka Technologies, specializing in grid-connected and off-grid solar system design and installation. Chanaka Samarajeewa holds a BSc. Eng. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Peradeniya, obtained in July 2013.
