Asanka N. Sudasingha has extensive experience in engineering with a focus on power generation and mechanical systems. Currently serving as an Operations Engineer and previously as ME-Conditions Monitoring at the Ceylon Electricity Board since March 2013, Asanka manages operations for a 300MW coal power plant. Asanka also contributed as a Project Engineer for the 2x300MW Puttalam Coal Power Project, overseeing the erection, testing, and commissioning of the facility. Prior roles include Mechanical Design Engineer at Central Engineering Consultancy Bureau, where responsibilities encompassed designing HVAC systems and preparing tender documents, and Project Engineer at Abans Engineering Pvt Ltd, focusing on the installation of central MVAC systems. Asanka began as a Trainee Engineer at Aitken Spence Power Generation PLC, involved in a major overhaul project for a 25MW HFO power plant and implementing ISO standards.
