Pauline Ronfard is an accomplished engineer specializing in surface engineering and tribology, currently working at Cetim - Centre technique des industries mécaniques since September 2022. Previously, Ronfard held the position of R&D Project Manager at Vallourec from October 2017 to September 2022, overseeing surface treatment and tribology projects while managing a team of technicians and guiding doctoral research. Additional experience includes internships at companies such as ArcelorMittal, NEWCHEM GmbH, AGC, CSIRO, and Solvay, where Ronfard contributed to various projects involving the development and characterization of coatings and materials, as well as conducting quality control and research analyses. Ronfard holds an Engineer’s Degree in Chemistry from SIGMA Clermont and completed preparatory classes at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Clermont-Ferrand.
