Yonnas Getinet is a legal expert with extensive experience in advisory and project management roles within various organizations focused on civil society and peace initiatives. Currently serving as a Legal Advisor at CESVI and as a Senior Peace Project Officer at the Ethiopian Institute of Peace since May 2023, Yonnas previously held the position of Legal Affairs A/Director at the Authority for Civil Society Organizations from May 2021 to January 2023, and served as a Senior Legal Advisor at ACSO from May 2019 to April 2021. Earlier career experience includes working as an Attorney and a Project M&E Officer at the Charities and Societies Agency. Yonnas holds an LLB in Law from Mekelle University, completed in July 2014.
