Gérard LEYMARIE has extensive experience in cybersecurity and operational defense roles, currently serving as CISO at Ministère des Armées since October 2023 and previously as Group CSO and Group CISO at Europ Assistance until October 2023. In addition to a long-standing tenure as a Lieutenant-colonel and Commandant in the operational reserve at Gendarmerie Nationale since March 2012, Gérard has held several influential positions in various organizations, including Co-president of AGORA des RSSI and membership in multiple cybersecurity associations. Notably, Gérard led cybersecurity efforts at ANSSI from May 2010 to February 2018 and holds an Engineer’s Degree in Telecommunications and Networks Engineering from EPITA, acquired between 1996 and 1999.
