Heather Brown is an experienced literacy consultant currently working at CESA 6 since July 2023 and serving as an adjunct professor at Carroll University since September 2022. Previously, Heather held the position of Teaching and Learning Specialist at Elmbrook Schools from August 2018 to June 2023 and worked as a literacy coach at the School District of New Berlin from June 2013 to August 2018, where responsibilities included facilitating Student Centered Coaching Cycles and supporting literacy initiatives. Heather's teaching background also includes a role as a fifth-grade teacher at Muskego-Norway Schools from 2009 to June 2013 and as a lead teacher at La Petite Academy from 2007 to 2008. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Literacy and Language from Cardinal Stritch University and a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Carroll University. Heather has engaged in numerous professional development experiences and has received recognition for contributions to education throughout a dedicated career.
