Ashley Walton has a diverse work experience in marketing and public relations. Starting in 2011, they worked as a Research Associate and Newspaper Reporter for The Daily Universe, where they published articles and won an award for their teamwork. In 2012, they served as a Marketing Intern for The Synaptic Global Impact Foundation, creating marketing and PR materials. Ashley also worked as an Account Manager for Bradley Public Relations, handling PR projects for BYU's Department of Communications. From 2011 to 2012, they were a Marketing Coordinator for BYU McKay School of Education, engaging in public relations work and managing social media. In 2013, they briefly worked as part of the Marketing Client team at The Green PolkaDot Box. Most recently, since 2013, Ashley has been employed at Certiport - A Pearson VUE Business. Ashley has held several roles within the company, including Field Marketing Manager, International Marketing Manager, and currently, Product Marketing Manager. In these positions, they have developed and executed marketing initiatives, managed marketing and communications activities, collaborated with clients, and supported sales enablement and lead generation efforts.
Ashley Walton received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication from Brigham Young University. In terms of additional certifications, Ashley obtained various certifications from Certiport - A Pearson VUE Business, including Communication Skills for Business (CSB) - Professional Communication in July 2021, IC3 GS6 Digital Literacy Certification in June 2020, Microsoft Office Specialist PowerPoint 2013 and Microsoft Office Specialist Word 2013 in March 2016, Computing Fundamentals in December 2014, IC3 Digital Literacy Certification in December 2014, Key Applications in September 2014, and Living Online in September 2014.
