Weny Cheng has a diverse work history that spans multiple industries. In 2013, they worked as a Laboratory Assistant for Statistics and Market Research at Bina Nusantara University. During this time, they gained experience in data analysis and research. Weny also served as an Event Organizer for the Bina Nusantara Computer Club, where they managed various aspects of event planning and coordination, such as design, website development, marketing, and budgeting.

In 2016, Weny joined Tokopedia, an e-commerce company, as an Executive Assistant to the CFO. Weny then transitioned to the role of Corporate Finance & Investor Relations, where they managed financial matters and maintained relationships with investors. In 2017, they were promoted to Senior Corporate Finance & Investor Relations, showcasing their growth within the company.

In 2018, Weny embarked on an entrepreneurial venture as an Online Entrepreneur. This experience allowed their to cultivate skills in business development and online marketing.

Most recently, Weny worked at Cermati.com, an online financial marketplace. Starting in 2020, they held the position of Business Development Manager, responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. In 2023, they were promoted to Senior Business Development Manager, demonstrating their expertise and leadership in the field.

Weny Cheng pursued their Bachelor's degree in International Marketing at BINUS University from 2012 to 2016. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Batam Djuwita National Plus Senior High School between 2009 and 2012, where they specialized in the field of Science.
