Dan Bakal has over two decades of experience in sustainability and clean energy advocacy, currently serving as Senior Program Director at Ceres, Inc. since October 2000, where leadership is provided to a team dedicated to decarbonizing critical sectors such as electric power, oil and gas, transportation, and steel. Previous roles at Ceres included Senior Director and Director of Electric Power, focusing on promoting clean energy adoption by electric utilities. Additionally, Dan Bakal held the position of Director of Corporate Outreach, facilitating major corporations' engagement with sustainability initiatives. Prior to Ceres, Dan Bakal worked as a Research Associate at Rocky Mountain Institute, where research and consulting efforts supported the implementation of sustainable solutions. Dan Bakal earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania in 1991.
