Alex Clark is a highly experienced engineering professional specializing in mechanical design and test platforms. Currently serving as a Principal Test Platforms Engineer at Ceres since April 2021, Alex leads the Platform sub-team within the Test Capability Team, focusing on the rigorous and safe improvement of existing test rigs and development of new platforms. Prior to this, Alex held multiple engineering roles at Ricardo, including NVH Project Engineer and Senior Test Platforms Engineer, where responsibilities encompassed system integration and testing across various powertrain technologies. Alex began a career foundation with diverse placements at Thales and experience as a lifeguard, leading to a Master of Engineering (MEng) & MA (Hons) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cambridge.
