Tom Mooney is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in public health and advocacy. Currently serving as the Director of Communications and Advocacy at CEPI since September 2023, Tom previously held the role of Acting Executive Director of Communications & Advocacy from March 2020 to July 2023. Prior to that, Tom was the Communications Manager for the EBOVAC Ebola Vaccine Trials at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine. Tom's career also includes significant roles at NHS England and NHS London SHA, where Tom managed impactful communication campaigns, public relations, and marketing initiatives. Tom's academic background includes a BA Hons in Modern Language Studies from the University of Nottingham, specializing in Portuguese, Spanish, and French.
