Michael Tran has over a decade of experience in software development and engineering, currently serving as Manager of Professional Services and Engineering Lead at CENX since 2015, where promotion occurred from an intermediate software developer to an engineering lead in just 1.5 years. Prior to this, Michael held the position of Software Designer at Ciena from 2010 to 2015, taking on integration responsibilities for scaling a modular modem. Earlier experience includes a role as Junior Software Developer at Protecode Inc., where management of internal data processes and team leadership for new feature development were key responsibilities, and as Engineer in Training at the Department of National Defence, where networking with various protocols was conducted. Michael holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Carleton University.
