Loretta Lovato, CCS, currently serves as an ED Coder at Centura Health since September 2022. Prior to this role, Loretta worked at Ciox Health as an OP Coding Consultant from September 2021 to March 2022, focusing on ED coding and transition from ED to inpatient coding. From February 2012 to July 2021, Loretta was employed by University of Colorado Health Northern Colorado as an ED and Outpatient Coder, where responsibilities included coding ICD-10 for emergency department, observation, and outpatient medical records, as well as infusion and injection coding. Loretta possesses expertise in CAC, EPIC systems, and 3M encoder. Loretta earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Health Information Management from Arapahoe Community College between 2011 and 2013.
