Tristan van Leeuwen is a Professor of Computational Inverse Problems at Utrecht University, where tenure began in September 2014. In addition, Tristan serves as Group Leader of Computational Imaging at Centrum Wiskunde & Informatica since September 2020. Previous roles include Postdoctoral Fellow positions at Centrum voor Wiskunde & Informatica from September 2013 to September 2014 and at The University of British Columbia from September 2010 to August 2013. Tristan van Leeuwen holds a PhD in geophysics from Delft University of Technology, earned in 2010, and an MSc in Computational Science from Utrecht University, obtained in 2006.
