Joel Borellis is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in building and leading sales and technical teams focused on artificial intelligence and cloud technologies. Currently serving as the Director, AI Sales Leader at Microsoft, Joel leads a specialist team that empowers enterprises to implement secure and responsible AI capabilities within Microsoft Azure. Prior to this role, Joel founded gametolearn, llc, where the focus was on utilizing gaming and Generative AI for educational outcomes. A former Senior Manager at Amazon Web Services, Joel has also held various leadership positions at Microsoft and Oracle, including roles in partner enablement and technical account management, contributing significantly to the development of partner capabilities and technical strategies. Joel holds a Master of Science in Technology Commercialization from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of South Carolina.
