Ian Griffiths holds the position of Head of Large Asset Operations at Centrica since September 2022, previously serving as Head of Operations at Centrica Energy Assets. With extensive experience at Centrica Energy from 1998 to September 2022, Ian contributed as Deputy Head of Peaking Plant, Power Station Manager, Maintenance Manager, Operations Manager, and Ops and Maintenance Manager, focusing on technical portfolio management and operational improvements. Earlier roles include Ops Tech at Barking Reach Power Station during its build and commissioning, and Mechanical Artificer in the Royal Navy, where a mechanical apprenticeship was completed before working on nuclear submarines. Ian earned a BSc Hons in Mechanical Engineering from The Open University between 1993 and 1998.
