Nigel Gormly is an experienced professional with a diverse background in finance and investment management, currently serving as the Director of Programs at the Centre for Sustainable Finance: Toitū Tahua since August 2024. As Managing Director of Calm the Farm Pledge Pioneers since 2021, Nigel has also held multiple directorships, including at Waihou Capital and LanzaTech, and serves as an Investment Committee Member for Te Pūia Tāpapa Limited Partnership. Additional expertise includes a role as Senior Advisor at ENERGY OPTIONS NETWORK INC and Chief Investment Officer at Toha NZ until September 2024. Prior to these roles, Nigel was involved with the NZ Super Fund, where responsibilities included Head of International Direct Investment and Head of Direct Investment, and contributed to the governance of St. Heliers School as a Board of Trustees member. Educational qualifications include a GradDipBus in Finance, a BCom in Management Science and Information Systems, and a BSc in Applied Mathematics and Operations Research, all from The University of Auckland.
