Ye-Min Wu

Regional Director (south & Southeast Asia) at Centre for Humanitarian Dialogue (HD)

Ye-Min Wu is an experienced diplomat and educator currently serving as the Regional Director for South & Southeast Asia at the Centre for Humanitarian Dialogue since November 2021. As a co-founder and negotiations trainer at Negotiating at the United Nations, Wu has been involved in lecturing and training diplomats, professionals, and students in negotiation techniques, informed by the co-authored book "Negotiating at the United Nations: A Practitioner's Guide." Previous roles include Deputy Permanent Representative at the Mission of Singapore to the WTO and WIPO, and various positions within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Singapore, culminating in roles such as Deputy Director and Assistant Director. Wu's early career included service as First Secretary at the Permanent Mission of Singapore to the United Nations and a history teacher at Raffles Girls' School. Educational qualifications include a Master of International Public Policy from Johns Hopkins SAIS and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from The Johns Hopkins University, along with an exchange year at the University of Oxford.
