Nadher Alsafvani, Ph.D., currently serves as MENA Cyber Advisor and Cyber Security Consultant at the Centre for Humanitarian Dialogue since December 2020. Previously, Nadher held the position of Cybersecurity Consultant at the Ministry of Technology and Communication, contributing to the ITU Arab Regional Cybersecurity Center from February 2016 to October 2020. Earlier experience includes serving as a Cybersecurity Officer at the International Telecommunications Union and managing Security Assurance and Research at IMPACT, focusing on IT security compliance and national cybersecurity policies. Additional roles include IT Assistant Manager at Yemen Gulf Bank and IT Supervisor at Middle East Trading. Nadher holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science from Universiti Utara Malaysia, as well as a Master's degree in Information Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from University of Basrah.
