Minna Mattila has extensive experience in public service, currently serving as Group Leader and Senior Planner at ELY-keskus - Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment since August 2008. In this role, Minna Mattila negotiates contracts with municipalities in the Uusimaa region concerning quota refugees and coordinates their re-allocation in collaboration with the Migration Office of Finland. Previous roles include Project Assistant at the Ministry of Education, Assistant at the Permanent Representation of Finland to the European Union, and Planner at the Employment Office, focusing on services for clients with an immigrant background. Minna Mattila began a career in public service as a trainee at Yhteiset Lapsemme and the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland. Minna Mattila holds a Master’s degree in Political Science with a focus on International Politics from the University of Turku, attained between 1996 and 2002.
