Zahra Bhoy is an experienced community engagement professional currently serving as a Community Engagement Specialist and previously as a Community Engagement Coordinator at Central Texas Food Bank since June 2021. Prior to this, Zahra held the position of Development Coordinator at Latin School of Chicago from September 2020 to May 2021. Significant experience also includes an undergraduate tutoring role at Indiana University Writing Tutorial Services, where support was provided for improving writing skills and grammar. Additional roles include a Development Intern at Openlands and an Advocacy Intern at Mother Hubbard's Cupboard, focusing on outreach and advocacy for food access and sustainable agriculture. Zahra earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies with a focus on Arabic from Indiana University Bloomington, and furthered education in Arabic at the Arab American Learning Institute in Morocco.
