Aaron Mills is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently, Aaron serves as the Director of Communications at Central Michigan University, where responsibilities include directing external and internal communications, managing media relations, and collaborating with diverse campus stakeholders to enhance messaging and branding consistency. Prior to this role, Aaron was the Senior Director of Marketing and Communications at Special Olympics Michigan, overseeing public relations and marketing efforts to raise awareness statewide. Aaron's earlier career included positions as Sports Director and Weekend Sports Anchor at 9&10 News - Heritage Broadcasting, where responsibilities encompassed managing the sports department and covering local collegiate and high school sports. Earlier experience as a freelance sports photojournalist at LIN Television contributed to a solid foundation in broadcast media. Aaron holds a Bachelor of Applied Arts degree in Broadcast and Cinematic Arts from Central Michigan University.
