David Donaldson has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several industries. David started their career as an Audio Visual Specialist at PepsiCo in 1980 and then moved on to work as a Multimedia Producer at Campus Group Companies Inc and Management Resources, Inc. In 1987, David joined Indiana University as the Director of Learning Technology Operations, where they focused on integrating technology into teaching and learning. After 23 years with Indiana University, they became the Chief Technology Officer at The Children's Museum of Indianapolis, overseeing various aspects of technology infrastructure and online systems. In 2018, David founded their own company, Laneseven Solutions, LLC, where they are currently serving as the President. David also holds the position of Director of Information Technology at Central Indiana Community Foundation since 2019.
David Donaldson completed their Master of Science (MS) in Informatics from Indiana University Bloomington from 1998 to 2000. Prior to that, they pursued their Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications with a focus on Radio/TV, Marketing, and Sociology at Indiana University Bloomington from 1976 to 1980.
