Erin Bussom is an experienced animal care professional with a strong background in zoology and animal technology. Since May 2006, Erin has held multiple positions at Central Florida Zoological & Botanical Gardens, progressing to the role of Senior Program Animal Specialist in October 2017. Previous roles include Feline Keeper and Primate Keeper. Prior to this, Erin worked as an Animal Care Technician at Gourmet Rodent, where responsibilities included colubrid snake breeding and care. Additionally, Erin served as a Research Intern at Rosamund Gifford Zoo, focusing on behavioral studies for an honors thesis. Erin's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from State University of New York at Oswego and an Associate of Science in Zoo Animal Technology from Santa Fe College.
