Stephanie Downey Toledo, EdLD, currently serves as the Superintendent and previously held the position of Chief Academic Officer at Central Falls School District since April 2018. As co-founder of SponsHER since May 2016, Downey Toledo works to close the gender gap in education leadership by raising awareness and supporting aspiring female leaders. Downey Toledo's extensive experience includes serving as a doctoral student at Harvard Graduate School of Education and as Deputy CEO at NYC Department of Education, overseeing students with disabilities and English language learners. With a strong foundation in special education, Downey Toledo's educational credentials include a Doctor of Education Leadership from Harvard, a Master of Science from Columbia University, and a Master of Arts from Loyola Marymount University, along with a Bachelor of Arts from The George Washington University.
