Annie Zelonis has a range of experience in the education sector. Annie began their career as a Learning Support Teacher in the Bloomsburg Area School District from 1997 to 2008. Annie then worked as a Social Studies Teacher and Department Chair at Dauphin County Tech School from 2008 to 2013. Following this, they served as a Vocational Facilitator at the same school from 2013 to 2017. Annie then joined the Central Dauphin School District, starting as a Supervisor of Special Education from 2017 to 2019, then serving as an Assistant Director of Special Education from 2019 to 2020, and currently holding the position of Director of Special Education.
Annie Zelonis earned their Bachelor's Degree in History from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania, which they attended from 1989 to 1993. Annie continued their education and obtained a Master's Degree in Special Education from the same university, attending from 1995 to 1997. In 2015 to 2016, Annie pursued a Post-Graduate Certificate in the Supervisor of Special Education Certification Program at Penn State University.
