Derek Matkin is an experienced acquisitions and land management professional with a career spanning several decades. Currently serving as Acquisition Manager at Central England Co-operative since September 2021, Derek previously held positions including Land and Property Consultant at WhiteFriars Property and Senior Land Manager at Churchill Retirement Living Ltd. Notably, during a lengthy tenure at SPAR James Hall & Company, Derek drove acquisitions and growth through a vast network of contacts. As Business Acquisitions Manager at Co-op from 1995 to 2008, significant contributions included expanding the number of food stores and overseeing comprehensive acquisition processes.
