Elaine Deegan currently serves as a Banking and Financial Services Policy Advisor at the Department of Finance Ireland, a position held since September 2023. Prior experience includes a significant tenure at the Central Bank of Ireland from August 2016, where roles included Senior Specialist in Financial Crisis Preparedness and Management and Senior Policy Advisor. From April 2013 to July 2016, Elaine Deegan worked at the Houses of the Oireachtas, first as Head of Research and previously as a Research Officer.
