Marie Pearthree, P.E. currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the Central Arizona Water Conservation District since January 2021. Pearthree co-authored the book "Tucson Water Turnaround: Crisis to Success," chronicling the introduction of Colorado River water to Tucson in the 1990s and the subsequent recovery efforts. Prior experience includes various leadership roles at Central Arizona Project from 2009 to 2016, including Deputy General Manager for Strategic Initiatives & Public Policy and Assistant General Manager for Business Planning & Governmental Programs. Additional roles include Senior Management Consultant at CH2MHill and Deputy Director at the City of Tucson Water Department. Pearthree holds a Master of Science in Geological and Earth Sciences from the University of Arizona and a Bachelor of Arts in Geology from Oberlin College.
