Aleida Martinez serves as a Cost Analyst in the Project Formulation Department of the Banco Centroamericano de Integración Económica since January 2021, providing detailed cost analyses for various infrastructure projects across member countries. Prior to this role, Aleida accumulated extensive experience at the Interamerican Development Bank in various consulting capacities, focusing on portfolio management and performance monitoring. Aleida has also held positions as an evaluation consultant, M&E specialist, and project inspector within the Honduran Social Investment Fund, overseeing a range of projects from water and sanitation to educational infrastructure. An educator in hydraulic studies, Aleida has also contributed to knowledge management in water and sanitation sectors. Aleida holds a Master's degree in Water Engineering from the Universidad de Sevilla and multiple relevant certifications in project management and evaluation.
