Mats is an experienced cross-functional leader within the financial industry, involved in starting up, merging, rationalizing, and developing companies. Mats have been active within the area of banking and finance for 25 years, with senior executive positions and board of director assignments, within - among other financial/banking companies - SEB, Swedbank, and Intrum Justitia. Over recent years, Mats has also engaged as an adviser and board member with a number of start-ups and innovation-oriented companies within several areas, but mainly within the innovative firms of Fintech and Green Finance. Mats have gained solid business experience by having guided both companies and business-related operations in Sweden and internationally - with over 800 employees and 50 billion USD in balance sheet accounts - to Start-ups, from conception to launch and commercialization.
