Hélène Timpano currently serves as the Executive Vice President of Strategy and Corporate Development at Centerra Gold Inc., a position held since May 2023. Previously, Timpano held various senior roles at Kinross Gold Corporation between February 2012 and August 2022, including Senior Vice President of Operations, where leadership on operations strategy and capital allocation was key, and Vice President roles overseeing operations strategy, technical evaluations, and innovation. Timpano contributed significantly to M&A efforts and due diligence, leading cross-functional teams and special projects, receiving recognitions such as the WXN Canada's Most Powerful Women: Top 100 Award in 2019 and the CIM-Bedford Canadian Young Mining Leaders Award in 2015. Prior experience includes diverse consulting roles at Bain & Company, covering acquisition due diligence and post-merger integration. Educational credentials include an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and degrees in Business and Engineering from Western University.
