Dania Flores Sandoval is a Community School Associate working with High School for Teaching and the Professions (HSTP) in New York City. In this role, she is responsible for assisting the Community School Director with the day-to-day management of the community school strategy in collaboration with school leadership and community partners. Dania’s connection to CSS began when she was a PGC Mentor at Flushing High School in Queens, New York. Prior to joining CSS, Dania worked as a bilingual tutor at Cypress Hills Collegiate Preparatory School supporting students with their work and assisting them with comprehension of the materials. She also worked hand-in-hand with teachers to mentor students who were chronically absent. Dania received her bachelor's degree in English with a minor in Spanish from CUNY Queens College.
